HOW TO WRITE A GOOD JOB APPLICATION LETTER

A job application letter is a letter together with the CV which forms the calling from the company you submitted to for a job interview.CV contains the facts about your personal data.skills,work experience and education while a job application letter is a personal note which your motivation for the post of job,discuss and explain how you heard about the job vacancy and the skills you have that will be helpful for the position.Also find a good example of a job application letter to use as a guide.

CONTENTS IN A JOB APPLICATION LETTER

A good job application letter must have the following contents;

1. Your Address
Here you give a full account of your address which includes; No: and Name of the street you are.Name of LGA,state,country and date.

2. Address Of The Company You Are Writing To
The Managing Director/CEO of the company(name of the company),Location and Date.

3. Reason for writing the letter e.g Application for the post of(name of post)in your company including a reference line.

4. Greetings/Salutation

Followed by

1. Opening sentence of where you saw the job vacancy,the date,the position and the name of the company.

2. A paragraph containing your name,date of birth,address of where you live,the year you completed your study,your discipline,the degree you obtained,how interested you were when you saw the advertisement of the job vacancy and how the job will be a perfect opportunity to gain new experience and to prove your worth.

3. Another paragraph about your skills,describing how strong and creative in possessing a good language skills and how you will enjoy working together with other staffs independently.

4. Another paragraph where you share your motives particularly your personal motives and how similar the work is to previous job and experience also how the character of the work appeals to you.

5. Close your sentence by expressing how excited you will be to further elaborate on the letter in a personal interview.
